Whale Sharks

big whale sharks The Whale Shark feeds on plankton and thus is not dangerous to man. With a maximum length of 12 meters it is the giant of the see and the biggest fish in the ocean. Whale Shark sightings became frequent in Kenya during the last few years. Many Whale Sharks have been cruising along the kenyan coast during the last season (September until February).

A confrontation with the Whale Shark is one of the highlights of every diver and an unforgettable and breathtaking experience.

During the season even for the non diver there is the possibility of coming face to face with this colossal fish (snorkelling excursions).
